I know how we are spoiled for cake choices here in Australia. We’ve got so many to choose from, that it can be quite overwhelming sometimes. But…if you are anything like me…really most of the time you are just craving for a taste of home. You long for those flavors that you grew up with or that sweets Lola used to make all the time. That is what we aim to give you at Ube Cakes and Bakes, home grown flavors to help you celebrate your moment. We want to help you create memories in your home, one cake at a time.
A bit about me...
Hello! My name is Lizzette and I am the proud baker behind every delicious ube cake that leaves my kitchen here in Mango Hill. As a stay-at-home mum, my passion for baking started when I began making birthday cakes for my boys. What started with the classic chocolate cake later evolved into a longing to share with my kids the flavors I grew up with. Making these classic Filipino cakes has helped me to introduce my children to our heritage and our culture, one sweet bite at a time. I hope we can do the same for you and your family too.
